Welcome to The Cleaning Centre. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (https://thecleaningcentre.net) and your purchase of products from us. Please read them carefully before placing any order. By accessing our website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- The Cleaning Centre/We/Us: Mascot Ltd. (C 32718) with registered address 27, Garden Street, Gżira, Malta.
- Customer/You: Any person whether legal or natural purchasing from our website.
- Consumer: A natural person acting outside their trade, business, or profession.
- Goods: Cleaning materials, equipment, machinery, and any ancillary items sold by us.
- Conditions: These Terms, together with any special terms agreed in writing.

2. Products & Orders
- All product descriptions, images, and prices are provided in good faith. Minor variations may occur.
- Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed once we confirm acceptance by email.
- If we are unable to supply the goods, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are stated in Euro (€) and include VAT (unless otherwise stated).
- Payment is due at the time of order using the methods available on the website.
- We are not bound to deliver until full payment has been received.
4. Delivery
- Goods will be delivered to the address provided by you at checkout.
- Delivery costs are stated during the ordering process.
- Risk passes to you upon delivery.
- We aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but delays may occur. If delivery is not possible within 30 days, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
- You must inspect the goods upon receipt and report any damage within 48 hours.
5. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off)
- As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.
- To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email or post).
- You must return the goods at your own cost, in their original condition and packaging, within 14 days of cancellation.
- Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
- Exceptions: Goods unsealed, opened, used, and not suitable for return (e.g. opened cleaning chemicals) cannot be refunded once opened.
6. Returns and Refunds
- Faulty or damaged goods reported within the statutory period will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at no cost.
- Goods returned outside the statutory rights may be accepted at our discretion and may be subject to handling or restocking fees.
7. Warranties and After-Sales Service
- All goods are covered by a legal warranty of conformity under Maltese and EU law.
- Some products (e.g. machines or equipment) may also include a manufacturer’s warranty. Such warranty terms will be supplied with the product.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, normal wear and tear, or unauthorised repairs.
8. Retention of Title
- Ownership of the goods remains with us until full payment is received.
- Until ownership passes, you hold the goods on our behalf and must keep them in good condition.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability for breach of contract or negligence is limited to the purchase price of the goods.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. business interruption, loss of profits).
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any rights you have under consumer law.
10. Customer Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information when placing orders.
- You are responsible for ensuring that products purchased are suitable for your intended use.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content (text, images, trademarks, and logos) is our property or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without prior consent.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
- Consumers also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_en
13. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply.
